The temperate grassland is hot at certain times of the year and has very few plant life variety. Certain animals have to adapt to this enviornment in order to survive and reproduce.

1. Adaptation is that the animals burrow. There isn't any trees to make into homes forcing animals to live underground to make there habitat.

2. Adaptation is the mice in the region have sharp teeth. Why so, they need sharp teeth to chew through the thick grasses

3. Adaptation is the mammals have a thick coat to be able to survive in the winter.

4. Adaptation is small rodents burrow underground to protect themselves from predictors

5. Adaptation is when wolves or coyotes hunt they hunt in packs, this gives them a advantage by outnumbering the prey that they are hunts
